Vietnamese exporters are not making use of Foreign Trade Agreement (FTA)
opportunities as many of them do not know how to claim priority tariffs
from FTAs.
The mechanism on self-issue certificate of origin (C/O) for goods
exported to the EU and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) markets
would help Viet Nam''s export enterprises, said experts.
Negotiations on the Sanitary and Phytosanitary Systems (SPS) play a
pivotal role in promoting free trade between Viet Nam and the European
Free Trade Association (EFTA), which is also estimated to boost Viet
Nam''s exports in the EU.
